The „Talk to Me – Pop Up Nature“ project, part of the university‘s participation in the Cologne Passages, promotes interaction between people and nature while creating a platform for innovative ideas. Inspired by „multispecies studies“ and „multispecies justice,“ the project challenges anthropocentric thinking and promotes a holistic, sustainable approach to design that highlights the interconnectedness of all life forms.

„Schmuck der Fassade“ (engl. Jewel of the facade) In collaboration with the coral Berta, an innovative urban decoration was developed for the facade. The question “What do you want?” to Berta brought the unexpected answer: the coral wants to decorate itself instead of just being the decorative element. This gave rise to the idea of creating classic jewelry in an oversized form. Materials from the scrapyard were recycled and transformed into a unique piece of jewelry for the urban space.
